Sorrento and its commons offer to the tourists an high quality cousine. The most famous product is the sorrento lemon IGP (a variety that thanks to its dimension and fragrance it's unique for its genre). It's used widely, from the production of limoncello, obtained through the infusion of the lemon peels in the spirits, to the flavouring of fish dishes, till the typical pastry with its lemon delights (delizie al limone). There are still other products to discover: from the walnuts (the sorrento variety is particularly delicious) to the extravirgin olive oil DOP, till the dairy products, like the fiordilatte and il Provolone del Monaco, a kind of cheese produced in the area of lattari Mountains in particularly in the area that from Agerola leads to Vico Equense.
Noteworthy are spaghetti with zucchine cooked in Nerano, a pleasure for the taste.
